CAPP partners each year with YouthBuild Providence to address poverty and sleep deprivation outcomes in children under twelve. This season alone, twenty one families received complete beds and the children an opportunity to have a restful night's sleep and increasing their performance in school. Some of the children were transitioning from beds with parents, others slept in crowded beds with siblings, while others were sleeping on makeshift beds on floors. The smiles and tears of joy when beds were delivered, for some it being their first, could not be captured with words. This is truly a rewarding and important service for our community and CAPP is honored to be a part of it.
