CAPP's RIHEAP only serves Providence residents in low-income households. All residents must complete an application. RIHEAP offers assistance to eligible residents to help with the rising cost of home heating. RIHEAP usually opens in October each year and runs through April. Residents who do not have utility service or oil should contact CAPP to see what programs are available to assist them.
Residents not living in Providence must contact the Community Action Partnership Agency that services their city or town. Click here for a list of Rhode Island's CAP Agencies.
Primary Grants are based on income, family size, fuel type and minimum delivery requirements.
